Coase: The Border Between Theory and Practice

  1. Find real-world situations that make more sense when you frame them in terms of financial and economic theory: Schelling Points, externalities, carry trades, optionality, the Capital Asset Pricing Model, etc.
  2. Find examples of other people doing this, and point out that they’re wrong.
